Tae Kwon Do is the world's most popular martial art, the national sport of South Korea, and has been an Olympic sport for over a decade. It is rooted in skills and tradition originating over two thousand years ago. Our TKD Kids program teaches Traditional Tae Kwon Do for self-defense, combat skills, exercise, and to become a better person. In our training, we stress Christian character qualities such as commitment, confidence, courage, discipline, endurance, friendship, gratefulness, obedience, patience, and responsibility.

Sure, we teach kicking and punching. But the highest aim of TKD Kids is to partner with parents to grow kids who are strong in body, mind, and spirit.

BODY - Martial arts will strengthen your child's muscles and cardiovascular system and improve their endurance, balance, coordination, speed, and agility. This improved fitness benefits them in any sport or activity, and makes for happier kids!

MIND - Martial arts trains the brain to focus, pay attention to detail, learn delayed gratification (one of the most important practices of successful people), and think logically and properly.

SPIRIT - Traditional martial arts requires students to craft good character. A student cannot rise through the ranks without developing important qualities including respect for self and others; courage to do what is necessary and right; gratitude to parents, family, teachers, friends, and others; and wise decision-making.

Our martial arts training can give your child the confidence and tools they need to resist negative peer pressure or their own less-than-ideal leanings, resulting in kids who are focused, courageous, loving, and grateful; who know how to work hard, persevere, achieve and succeed.

When choosing a martial arts school for your child, it is important to find a good fit. That's why we always invite new students to come in and TRY A CLASS FOR FREE. It's the best way to discover if your child enjoys the type of training we do, if mom and dad like the instructors, and if our school's philosophy meshes with your parenting style. A good match and a strong student-school partnership means improved outcomes and a successful experience for all. Call us today to set up your free trial at (817) 584-2527.
